Sectech Open Forum – the arena of security providers

A complement to the exhibition and seminars at Sectech, which provides opportunities for exhibitors to present interesting industry-oriented topics.

Technology Trends in the Security Market 2026 and How Access Control Systems Should Be Designed to Comply with NIS2 and CRA are examples of themes featured in this year’s Open Forum at Sectech. Other program highlights include a presentation of a new security management system and an interview with the founder of Artifeel, who will share how their award-winning alarm system was used to secure infrastructure during the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Sectech, taking place on October 14–15, is not only an exhibition with over 120 exhibitors showcasing the latest in security technology. The event is also a knowledge forum for anyone interested in how technology can contribute to greater safety and security. In addition to the Sectech seminar stage, there is an Open Forum stage where companies and other organizations have the opportunity to give presentations with engaging and relevant content.

These are the English presentations. For a full list of Open Forum presentations, visit the Swedish Open Forum page.

SPAC Alliance presents at Sectech how access control systems can be designed to comply with the EU’s new regulations NIS2 and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). The focus is on:

  • The new security paradigm: the connection between physical and logical security, as well as end-to-end security.
  • An overview of the two most important EU regulations leading to standards and certifications.
  • The importance of secure and sovereign solutions, including the SSCP protocol.
  • The threat landscape from cyber and hybrid attacks, and the EU’s response through regulations.
  • Practical examples, such as how an organization with an outdated system can meet the requirements.
  • Information about the SSCP ecosystem, certifications, and the benefits of SPAC membership.

Speaker: Tibaud Estienne, regulation/technologies expert & network coordinator, SPAC Alliance

Securing Telecom Infrastructure of the only connectivity operator of the Paris Olympics with the Check’In Infra Alarm System

How do you safeguard critical infrastructure in locations without access to electricity or Wi-Fi? The answer is Check’In Infra – the award-nominated alarm system that played a pivotal role on essential infrastructures resilience during the Paris Olympics.

For the first time, the Swedish market will now be introduced to this cutting-edge solution, as Rapid Säkerhet’s subsidiary Dipar launches Check’In Infra in Sweden. Developed and manufactured by Artifeel, the product has already been nominated for this year’s Detektor International Award.

At Sectech, Alain Staron, founder of Artifeel, will take the stage to share the story behind the development of Check’In Infra – and explain how, his team continue to develop its unique AIoT solution to protect all kind of technical infrastructures. This technology is already used to secure the technical infrastructure of key network operators such as Orange, the sole provider of connectivity at one of the world’s largest events.

With several thousand systems deployed at the time, the Paris Olympics marked the launchpad for Artifeel’s unique alarm solutions. In this open forum, Alain Staron will be interviewed by Mats B. Adman, CEO of Rapid Säkerhet, about how Check’In Infra became a game-changing solution for protecting critical infrastructure – even in the most challenging environments, where neither Wi-Fi nor power grids are available.
