The best security show around the GlobeSECTECH will take place from 2-3 October in the capital of Sweden, Stockholm. It is the most important event for the security industry in the area during 2001. The chosen venue is the Quality Hotel Globe Stockholm, right next to the world famous Globe Arena (where the MTV Awards was organised recently).
AR Media and the International Stockholm Fair are the companies behind the event.
AR Media is internationally recognised for their publication Detektor and their global portal for the security industry SecurityWorldHotel.com.
The International Stockholm Fair has earned a strong position on the
security market through its huge bi-annual security event, Skydd.
SECTECH is not a big event in terms of quantity. The number of exhibitors will be around 40 and the organisers are aiming for about 1500 visitors. The quality aspects of the exhibition and conference are highly focused.
SECTECH is the event that will be organised in Sweden in the alternate years when Skydd is not on the calendar. A down to earth event, with small plug-and-play stands for the exhibitors. Sectech will be a market place...not really a place to show off! Strong exhibition organiser Stockholm International Fairs is the leading organiser of conferences and fairs in Scandinavia, arranging annually some 40 fairs and 300 congresses. The Security exhibition Skydd in Stockholm is amongst the most well visited in Europe. During the 2000 event, almost 22 000 attendees were registerered.
AR Media is the leading publisher within the security market in Scandinavia and one of the marketleaders in Europe as well. Detektor is produced in three versions, one international, one Swedish and one Norwegian. The total
circulation for these three editions/magazines is 24.800 copies. AR Media also produce the bi-annual security book, Svensk Säkerhet (8000 copies) and the
security tabloid, Säkerhet Plus, published once a year, distributed with more than 120 000 copies throughout the Swedish market.
There is no better city in Scandinavia to organise a security exhibition in than Stockholm.
"This is the centre of the Scandinavian security market. And we believe that the Quality Hotel Globe is a good choice too, with its dual level exhibiton
facility and conference locations. Good communications and proximity to the city are also appreciated by the visitors and exhibitors², says Björn Lindforss and adds:
AR Media will be the company behind the marketing and sales for the event whilst the International Stockholm Fair will be responsible for the logistics and the organisation of the show.
